Question 1

What is a prefab container house and how is it manufactured?

Accepted Answer

A prefab container house is a modular building assembled from a pre-engineered galvanized steel frame and insulated sandwich panels. Frames, panels, doors, windows and MEP components are produced and pre-fitted in a controlled factory, then shipped flat or folded and bolted together on site, cutting programme time by 50-70% versus conventional masonry construction.

Question 2

How many prefab container units fit into one 40ft HQ container?

Accepted Answer

Loading density depends on the series. Flat pack units typically ship 4 sets per 40ft HQ, Z-type foldable units up to 14 folded units per truck load, while X-type units fold down to roughly 42 cm in height for the lowest freight cost per square metre. Our logistics team issues a stowage plan with every quotation so buyers can verify landed cost before ordering.

Question 3

Are prefab container houses strong enough for typhoons and heavy rain?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Our Gen 2 detachable structure uses reinforced corner posts, hot-dip galvanized beams, internal concealed drainage and sealed panel joints. Units are specified for typhoon-grade wind exposure and seismic loading common in the Philippines and wider Asia-Pacific, and are tested for zero leakage under sustained heavy rainfall.

Question 4

Can layouts, finishes and electrical systems be customised for export projects?

Accepted Answer

Every series is customisable: module dimensions, panel thickness (50-100 mm EPS, PU or rock wool), floor build-up, window and door schedules, sanitary fit-out, socket and breaker standards (220V/110V, BS/EU/US), air-conditioning provisions and solar-ready DC conduits.

Question 5

How long does installation take on site?

Accepted Answer

A foldable unit can be unfolded and levelled by a 4-person crew in minutes. Flat pack and detachable units are usually completed in 2-6 hours per module, while a 20-module camp is commonly commissioned within 7-14 days including MEP connection.
